The journey continue, Sai with his live art jutsu surveyed the location where’s the meeting between Sasori and his spy. Captain Yamato meanwhile, transformed into sasori and walk slowly to the heaven and earth bridge. Sai,Sakura and naruto taking place in the bush waiting for Yamato signals to capture sasori’s spy.

Sosori’s spy arrived at the location, and unexpectedly the spy was actually one of orochimaru’s servant, Kabuto. It is clear that was a trap when Orochimaru appear in front of Yamato. Orochimaru has dispelled the jutsu used on Kabuto long time ago and Orichimaru is looking for away to kill Sasori.

Yamato disguise blown when he was attacked by Kabuto. Yamato sends the signal for the 3 of his team to action.

Kakashi is still hospitalized due to his overused sharingan in the battle against the Akatsuki. Yamato, an ANBU personnel was appointed to take Kakashi’s team in the mission to extract Sasori Spy in the meeting at Heaven and Earth Bridge in 4 days time. Problem arise when, Sai, also from ANBU Root division joined the team. Sai seems couldnt get along with Naruto and Sakura.

A little history about ANBU Root division, Root was created and directly controlled by Danzo, who trained and conditioned children intensively from a very young age. This was done to completely eliminate emotions and enable its members to complete missions without being held back. Root tends to go further in its belief that ninja must not show any emotion than most other ninja groups do, as they forbid any members to possess anything that may invoke emotion. It was implied that the department used methods similar to Kirigakure’s graduation exam, including pitting students against each other in fights to the death. Because Danzo is a war hawk and opposed the Third Hokage, Root was disbanded. However, many former members are still loyal to Root. Even though Root is shown to have been well-intentioned, both Jiraiya and Tsunade remain wary of the organization.

Jiraiya short visit at the hospital where kakashi is in, revealed the damaged he took when training with naruto to Tsunade,Kakashi and Yamato. Jiraiya warned Yamato as the Captain for this mission, to be aware of naruto emosion. Naruto emosion has a lot to do with his jinchuriki appearance.

From the last episode of naruto, discussion between Tsunade and sakura about the meeting at Heaven and Earth bridge comes to no end. Tsunade wish no jeopardize the risk of including naruto in the team for capturing Sasori spy and eliminating Orichimaru once and for all. She feared that Akatsuki will be in contact with naruto.


Tsunade apprentice, finally consulted the elder of konoha and finally decision was made. The Elder wish that an ANBU member should be in the team, and the Elder summon to Danzo, The Former ANBU Chief(Root Division, but was disbanded). Danzo recommended one of his ANBU unit, which his name is not yet known.

Tsunade accepted the offer because she got no other choice. But in her mind, She has no trust of Danzo. Danzo has his own history with the 3rd hokage and Tsunade feared that Danzo is planning for something. To get things cleared, Tsunade called to another ANBU member and given him a codename as Yamato. Tsunade ordered Yamato to lead the Kakashi’s team in this mission and watch over Danzo’s boy.

The sand’s crisis is finally resolved, the rescue team, Gai team and Kakashi team headed back to Konoha. Kakashi is warded to konoha hospital because of his overused sharingan. His new sharingan really wears him out.

Sakura reported to tsunade about her findouts. Tsunade believes that the meeting between Sasori’s spy and Orichimaru at Heaven and Earth bridge is not more than just a trap to lure naruto out of konoha in order to retrieve naruto nine-tails fox daemon. However Tsunade decided that sakura’s team should go and find out what the meeting is all about.


But with kakashi is still trying to recover from the last battle, their team is short of a member. Naruto when throughout konoha and met shikamaru team and Kiba team to persuade one of them to come with him for this mission. But he failed, and all of sudden he was attacked by a mysterious konoha shinobi with strange jutsu.
