I’ve been looking for a way to send naruto anime series to my brother through the net, and I get myself stuck with eatlime. Eatlime is a new free web-based (and desktop) service that allows you to send huge files to anyone while making the process as simple as it can get. Registration was easy, just provide an e-mail address and there is no confirmation e-mail message with a special code or link for you to complete the registration.

The service couldn’t be any easier to use without registering. But sending files larger than 100 megabytes will requires you to be registered. All you have to do is select a file and the upload starts. You don’t even need to provide an e-mail address for the recipient of your file. This service still in Beta but looks very promising as it provides key unique innovative features, in a fresh and easy to use interface, with little or no distracting ads.

Uploading and download can start at the same time, once uploading started, a link provided and you can start share the link to others at the same time while you’re uploading. The link looks like something like this : -

The fun does not end here, with the downloadable desktop version of Eatlime things get even easier. You simply select one or multiple files anywhere on your desktop and press Ctrl-T. Eatlime registers your selection and immediately starting the upload of those files to its servers while providing you with a notification dialog box allowing you to promptly copy or email the download links for the same.

By overall eatlime can share and send large files up to 1GB in size for free users. Shared Files can be sent by simply selecting them and not limited to just 1 file but multiple files can be sent at once. There’s no maximum limit of files that can be shared or sent via Eatlime. The receiving side can start downloading files as soon as the sender starts uploading them and each files are kept and archived inside each registered user profile.

Considering it still in beta, several functionalities are not yet activated but the service already provides great value to anyone wanting to try it out.
