Ichigo and his friends made a very tough decision, they split and took their own way into 5 different tunnel in les noches. Ichigo was the first to counter his opponent, an espada number 103 who was guarding the area. It was learn that the espada he encountered was used to be the high ranked espada but was demoted to “privaron espada” because of lack of capabilities and strength.

Espada no 103 forced Ichigo to attacked him with the strongest attacks Ichigo can pull. Ichigo was cornered at the same time he was distracted when nel was attacked by the espada. This leaves Ichigo with no choice but to use his bankai.

Ichigo’s attacks was unseen and badly injured the espada. When nel cured the 103, the fights started again, 103 need to badly proves to Aizen that he’s still worthy as the high ranked espada.
