Yesterday night I got the chance to watch Beowulf at TGV Sunway Pyramid. For those who is not aware about it, Beowulf is an animated movie. I heard people whispering, ” I thought its a movie”. The movie started with a king having a feast with his army celebrating their victory in war. Noise created from their barbaric style of having fun disturbed a creature in his slumber, Grendel, the demonic creature attacked and killed almost everyone in the hall where their having their feast.


The king announced who ever kill the creature will be granted half of the kingdom’s gold. Here’s when Beowulf and 14 men come to the rescue. Beowulf, and his men slept in the hall and started making noise as bait for Grendel. It works, Beowulf almost had the creature killed, but Grendel manage to run away to his cave. Grendel died in the cave caused by his badly injured arm. Grendel mother, played by Angelina Jolie, trying to avenged her son death.

She killed almost all of Beowulf men, and it took Beowulf to the scene where his in front of Grendel’s mother hideout. Beowulf seduced with lust,power,and wealthiness as in returned, Beowulf must get laid with her. Beowulf returned to the king, telling the creature already killed, but the king knew that was a lie. The king took his own life and leave Beowulf his kingdom.

Later it was learn that the king made the same mistake like Beowulf did. Grendel, the creature, was the king son, when Grendel died the creature’s mother need another child in return. Beowulf once again face the same problem like the previous king, another demonic creature started attacking his kingdom, guess who’s the father of that creature?
