Windows Notepad with enhanced features

This guy exLibertine developed the same look alike Windows Notepad with few notable enhanced features. This is more or less exact copy of MS Notepad with good encryption and unique security features. This clone introduces new file format: etxt (encrypted text). In additional to classic “password”, the tool allows you to choose any “permanent” file to be an additional key for cypher.

Also, this tool helps you to hide your text from eyes behind you: - visible text becomes bright if the program’s window is inactive then, the program’s window becomes minimized. All these arrangements can really help if you forget your opened/edited text and somebody stays behind your back.Finally, if you are already experienced with MS Notepad, you would adopt Secure Notepad in five minutes.

The OpenSLL engine is used for encryption (Blowfish algorithm), so it is expected to be very safe. But actually, the firmness of any algorithm depends on the private key’s size. To help you on this, in addition to password, it gives you the ability to select any file to be used as an additional secure element. All you need is to decide: which file is permanent on your PC and can never be changed by any reason.
