Browse Safer with NoScripts!

Experts do agreed that surfing the net with Firefox is a lot safer with NoScript. It allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content to run only from trusted domains of your choice, e.g. your home-banking web site, and guards the “trust boundaries” against cross-site scripting attacks (XSS).
Such a preemptive approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities with no loss of functionality.NoScript notifies you about blocked script tags (<script>),java, flash and plugin content with zap sound and standard “Popup blocker” style messages. The number of detected <script> tags for current page is shown in a tooltip when you fly over the icon with your mouse. If the “S” inside the icon is white rather than blue script tags have been detected.
Applets, Flash movies/application, Quicktime clips and other content won’t be even downloaded from sites where you consider them annoyances, saving your bandwidth and increasing your navigation speed.

You can easily configure the kinds of content you want to forbid using NoScript Options|Advanced.
