Lessen your pain in Ubuntu with Automatix

So you feel you want to join all the cool people that runs linux on their box heh? Installing linux is one matter, Installing the application is another complex matters, isnt it obvious? linux is not for computer newbie. It takes times to learn and to understand the whole basic concept in linux operating system. However Ubuntu make it easier for you as everything is gnome’d for you.
Running Ubuntu without cool apps is not good thing to keep up with the world right? Here comes our friend Automatix in action. Automatix2 is a free graphical package manager for the installation, uninstallation and configuration of the most commonly requested applications in Debian based Linux operating systems.
So where is this Automatix resides?
Ok, after successful Installation, Automatix can be found in Applications –> System Tools on Ubuntu and Main Menu –> System
Automatix2 can be run from terminal as
automatix2 ( you must type this in the terminal lol)
Automatix2 can be removed as follows:
sudo apt-get remove automatix2 ( you must type this in the terminal lol)
With Automatix everything is made easy for you, there no need to worry about compatibilties,library and the command line installation. All you need is to click,install and enjoy what you think suitable for your pc. There’s a lot of software included and it will make your life a lot easier. Check out the list.
